Sorry for the absence of any posts recently. I have been busy doing many other things. However, I hope to squeeze another post in by the end of the week. I have been wanting to make a list of links for the past while now but never really got around to do it ’til now.
So here is April’s list of links:
- I know this isn’t new but it’s a great idea for a website.
Basically it’s a Time Sensitive CSS Switcher, which means that depending on the time of day, a visitor to your site will see the time of day reflected in your site design.

- If your looking for inspiration for a new design for your website look no further. Here are some great designs that will inspire you to make a great website
- Planning on making the move to Linux? Well on the 19th of this month the next version of Ubuntu is being released, v7.04, catch it here:
- Like Google Maps? How about a Google Map customised for your site?
- Can’t wait til Joost is released? Sign up for the newsletter and follow the blog on the Joost site. v0.9.1! Its getting closer to 1.0!
- A new startup which is currently in the invitation stage, called GrooveShark, is willing to pay you for sharing music! Not sure exactly how that works but according to the site : “GroovesharkTM is an online service that rewards you for sharing, reviewing, and discovering new music. Come take a dip.” Sounds good to me! Enter your email address on the homepage to get on the invitation list but be prepared to wait…

Any joost invites to spare?
And I see you’re a user of songbird. How do you like it?
Hi Corvida, yes I’ll send you an invite later today as I’m away from my home computer at the moment.
I really like Songbird! It’s amazing that at only v0.2.5 the program has so many features. It is a bit slow at times and so I’m still using itunes as my main media player but I hope that after a few more releases of Songbird I can move to a it for good.
If you haven’t read my post about Songbird here you go.
Enjoy Joostwhen I send you the invite,
Alan.
